- Quality, Quality, Quality: Ask yourself, would I be happy with this item if I purchased it from someone else? We all have items in our inventories that we got when we were new and as we went along. Some well made, others not so much. A well made item is crucial to establishing a loyal customer base. If your customers love your items, they will be back, and usually with friends. When evaluating your products, keep the characteristics listed below in mind because these are what we look for.
Roleplay.
ஐ Clothing Designers - Well made clothes should have seams,
wrinkles, shading, edges and such. Patterns and edges
should match up and be properly aligned. Using bits and
pieces from templates or kits is allowed but the entire item
should not be straight from the kit. Put some of yourself
into every piece you make.
ஐ Avatar Appearance Designers - This will include skin,
shape, hair, eyes, prim attachment, jewelry, tattoo,
brand and piercing makers. Everyone loves these items
and to create new customers for your hard work, it is
important that the designs are well made and painted.
Makeup options may also be offered as well. For
shapes, most clients DO prefer a modifiable shape. Skins
should be well painted, especially the brows, the contour
around the lips, shading and makeup. Make sure your
textures match as well on each side or seam for jewelry
and tattoos as they wrap around an avatar.
ஐ Home & Furniture Builders - We are looking for well
designed and aligned prims and textures. Animations
within the furniture should be of good quality and
properly aquired. Remember, most roleplayers will
have a limited number of prims to use on their roleplay
sims. When building houses or furniture please keep
prims to a reasonable number.
ஐ Weaponry Makers - We will accept only those weapons
allowed for use on Gorean and Medieval roleplay sims.
For Goreans, dual weilding and hybrid weapons will
not be allowed. Moreover, the weaponry should have
the correct strike for the roleplay in which it is intended.
ஐ Animators -Animations must be your own. We will not
accept resellers or redistributors of other's animations
including those from MLP.
ஐ Texture Designers - The textures supplied should be of
your OWN creation. While there are many gorgeous
textures available on the web, to keep us clear of
copyright infringement, we will accept only those who
create original textures. Textures should be of good
quality and include wrinkles, shading, and fabulous
detail.
ஐ Art - While we do not exclude artists, we will not accept
merchants who uploads copyrighted and/or art that
includes otherwise protected materials obtained from
the web. Artistic creations should be your own,
original art that you choose to share with the second life
world.
- Established Merchants - While we do recognize the up and coming merchants and are excited to see your creations, it will be hard to attract clients if there is not already stock from which they can see and purchase from your stores at full price. We ask that your store have at least 25 DIFFERENT items for sale, and have been in business AT LEAST 6 months. Similarly, the price of your items in your store should be higher than the price set for the weekend special.
- What is NOT allowed: We wish to ensure our subscribers can feel confident in the items that we present and they purchase. Because of this, copybotted or stolen content is not appropriate for our venue. We wish our merchants to present their own merchandise and as such, resellers are not appropriate within as well. Copywritten or trademark materials are also unacceptable.
